Most beach chairs are a metal frame with fabric stretched over it, and after an hour you can feel the frame. The Roam has no cross bars, simply breathable CloudMesh with enough give to settle into, and the only thing touching your back is fabric. It reclines to four positions all from your seat, so you don't have to stand up and fiddle with it. The frame is brushed aluminium, which doesn't rust when you leave it wet in the trunk.
